Scuba Diver

As a scuba diver, you have gained the first certification level, that allows you to explore the underwater world down to the depth of 12m (39 feet) while accompanied by a certified PADI Instructor.  Consisting of five theory modules and the equivalent pool sessions, followed by two Open Water dives you will have learnt enough to be able to relax and enjoy this new and exciting environment with ease.

Open Water Diver

The Open Water course is not only the most popular PADI course worldwide, but it also means you become a Fully certified diver and full member of the dive community.  Recognized worldwide, this certification allows you to freely explore any place your desires take you.  This means you have the freedom to get away from all the stress of everyday life in this calming and quiet almost meditative new world, wherever you are.  The program takes three days in which you will attend theoretical and practical lessons and become a real diver. The first two will take place in our pool and after that you will be ready to discover the underwater world around Koh Tao in four more training dives!

Adventure Diver

Building upon the open water course, you can experience more thrills and explore new aspects of diving that were out of reach before. The adventure diver program allows you to find your own way of diving and make sure that diving never gets boring. As we are all different there are various adventure dives available at your fingertips – from deep, wreck and DPV all the way to underwater photography. Each Adventure Dive is the first dive of the corresponding specialty course, allowing an easy transition to eventually becoming a Master Scuba Diver.

Advanced Open Water Diver 

The next splash after becoming an Open Water Diver is the Advanced Open Water Course.  Deep and Navigation are two compulsory dives in this course.  These teach you how to dive to 30 meters (100 feet) and navigate your way through the underwater world. As the course consists of five theory lessons and five dives, we you will be given the choice of three adventure dives from a wide variety of topics such as Wreck, Night, Fish Identification and many more. This is the perfect course which allows you to pick the paths of diving you want to pursue as a diver.

Specialty Courses

Having completed either an Adventure Dive or the Advanced Open Water Diver certification, the next step is a specialty course.

In the specialty course, you can truly say you have mastered each aspect of diving that interests you.

Nitrox Course (enriched air 40%)

As we all know from our open water course we can only stay at certain depths for a certain amount of time.  This is due to the nitrogen in the air that we breathe, that gets forced into our body when the surrounding pressure increases causing an above normal nitrogen saturation of our tissues.

If we decrease the percentage of nitrogen in the gas mix we are using, we can extend these times quite considerably.  Not only does Nitrox allow us to dive with gas mixes that have more Oxygen in them (thus increasing allowable bottom times), it also means that surface intervals can be decreased. Nitrox has now become so popular due to its benefits that most reputable dive shops worldwide offer it.

Emergency First Response 

The need to help others in need is part of what makes us human, but in most cases when the time arises, we realize that we don’t know exactly how to help.  With the Emergency First Response (EFR) course, this feeling of helplessness is replaced by the knowledge and courage to help.

This course is not only a must for all divers it is also great for non-divers. Being able to save a family member or friend’s life is a feeling irreplaceable by anything else. Of course, we all hope that we will never need to use the skills learned in this course, but as we have always been told “it is better to be safe than sorry”.

Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver course is considered by most as the most interesting and fun course they ever completed.  The serious fun in this course helps you turn the corner in your diving career.  In previous courses, you learned how to take care of yourself and become proficient in what you love. With the Rescue Diver course, you take that knowledge and experience and apply it to the care and safety of your fellow diving buddies.

Scuba Review

After a long break from diving, this program will refresh your knowledge and your diving skills. First, one of our instructors will repeat some important diving theory units with you. After that, he will take you on two dives and refresh required skills with you – and of course, in the process, you will get time to admire the beautiful underwater world as well. After the dives you will be given useful tips on how to improve your underwater performance and how to make your diving more comfortable and relaxing. At the end of this program you will definitely feel more comfortable and safer under water!
