Our Spa is located at the southern edge of the property and offers guests another level of relaxation with a menu of traditional Thai massage as well as relaxing and therapeutic oil massage. The massage rooms look out onto the bay and open to a large deck over the water.
Manicure, pedicure and nail extensions are also on the Spa menu.

Mango Bay is often smooth as glass, making it one of the top swimming, snorkeling and kayaking spots on the island. An evening or early morning kayak out to the mouth of the bay and into the open water is an amazing experience – one not to be missed when at the Mango Bay Boutique Resort. The kayak is also an excellent way to reach the reef at the mouth of the bay on the far side and to explore the surrounding coastline.

Advanced Open Water Diver
The next splash after becoming an Open Water Diver is the Advanced Open Water Course. Deep and Navigation are two compulsory dives in this course. Nitrox Course (enriched air 40%)
As we all know from our open water course we can only stay at certain depths for a certain amount of time. This is due to the nitrogen in the air that we breathe, that gets forced into our body when the surrounding pressure increases causing an above normal nitrogen saturation of our tissues.
If we decrease the percentage of nitrogen in the gas mix we are using, we can extend these times quite considerably. Not only does Nitrox allow us to dive with gas mixes that have more Oxygen in them (thus increasing allowable bottom times), it also means that surface intervals can be decreased. Nitrox has now become so popular due to its benefits that most reputable dive shops worldwide offer it.

Emergency First Response
The need to help others in need is part of what makes us human, but in most cases when the time arises, we realize that we don’t know exactly how to help. With the Emergency First Response (EFR) course, this feeling of helplessness is replaced by the knowledge and courage to help.
This course is not only a must for all divers it is also great for non-divers. Being able to save a family member or friend’s life is a feeling irreplaceable by anything else. Mango Bay Boutique Resort can arrange a private island tour on a traditional long tail boat. Tour starts at Mango Bay Boutique Resort with pick up at 09:00-10:00 am and return to our dock between 04:00-05:00 pm. Thetour will stop at all of the good beaches and bays on the island and includes lunch, water and snorkel equipment. The lunch stop is at the location of your choice. This is a fabulous way to see the island and to get a chance to experience some of the remote and difficult to access spots.
Price starts at 2800 THB for 1 – 4 passengers. Extra passenger will be charged 300 THB each.
Because we are located at the northernmost point of the island, this white-sand beach and crystal-clear bay has swimming-pool-like conditions when other bays experience heavy winds.
Mango Bay offers one of the most unique snorkeling experiences on Koh Tao. With easy access to the water from the Mango Bay Boutique Resort’s sun deck, you’ll be surrounded by sergeant majors, wrasse, parrot fish, banner fish and butterfly fish.
Swim along the shore towards the beach and you’ll encounter a range of coral and a small, dense reef just off the beach. Keep an eye out for larger parrot fish, titan triggerfish, grouper, needlefish, and you’re lucky – maybe a spotted stingray.
Heading north from the sun deck, along the shore and around the point, you’ll pass a couple of larger pinnacles before heading into deeper water and coral-covered boulders. More titan triggers, big parrots and groupers, plus long-tailed bannerfish, and barracuda.
For the ultimate snorkeling experience at Mango Bay, take a kayak across the bay and tie up near the Gulf end of the roped buoys. Slip into the water and you’ll be snorkeling one of the healthiest snorkeling reefs on Koh Tao. While a bleaching event a few years ago killed off most of the coral on this side of the bay, the cooler water closer to the mouth of the bay allowed a 200-meter section to thrive. Go out at about 3 or 4pm and the lower sun will backlight the coral while you cruise up to the rock off the point at the mouth of the bay.. Sublime. You can rent top-quality snorkel equipment and kayaks at the service bar on the sun deck.
Swimming is excellent right off our sun deck. The beach adjacent to us offers excellent sand and warm, clear water – and can be accessed by clambering over the shore rocks or by swimming over.
From Mango Bay Boutique Resort, you can hike up the mountain beyond the top of our stairs and immerse yourself in the cool, lush jungle. There a number of great trails and destinations up at the top of the mountain, but the best destination not to be missed is the Sky View view point. About 40-minute walk, Sky View gives you an unobstructed view of the south of the island from one of the highest points on Koh Tao. With a bar, viewing platform and even a swing, this is an incredible spot to visit.
Koh Nang Yuan is a small island (actually 3 islands connected by sand bars) that offers great views, incredible scenery, hiking, swimming and snorkeling. Mango Bay Boutique Resort offers regular transfer from our dock to Koh Nang Yuan, and return.
The transfer departs at 12:30 pm from Mango Bay Boutique Resort and return at 04:00 pm. Tour includes snorkeling equipment and life jacket
Koh Nang Yuag charges a 100 THB entry fee per person and a 20 THB per person entry fee to access the viewpoint. Foods, beverages and fins are not permitted.
Mango Bay Boutique Resort can arrange private fishing trips with our friend Mr. Bu; a very experienced local fisherman renown for some big catches over the last past 18 years. You will fish with him on his fully-equipped, classic Thai boat – starting from our dock, where he will pick you up between 09:30-10:00 am and take you out to the best location to fish on that particular day. Lunch and beverages are provided and you will return to our dock between 4:30-05:00 pm.
